Covid 19 Procedures - Kids Villa Learning Center

Modified Pick up and Drop Off Procedures

In order to keep everyone safe and healthy, we are not allowing guardians into the building. We ask that one family enter our vestibules at a time. Upon entering we ask you to review the quick health screening questions and take your child’s temperature. Please relay your answers to the questions and your child’s temperature to the staff member that will then assist your child to their classrooms. When you come to pick up your students; we ask that you remain in the vestibule while a staff member retrieves your student for a safe departure. We understand you would like to still have communication with your child’s teacher, and encourage all our families to utilize our BrightWheel app!
At this time we are only allowing essential personnel into the building. Special visitors for events are pre-screen in advance and asked to follow all Kid’s Villa COVID practices.

Physical Distancing

We will encourage all students and staff to maintain 6-foot social distancing throughout the day! We understand this is harder for our younger students and therefore we practice, practice and practice! We will be minimizing the blending of classrooms to decrease the spread of germs.

Keep Our School Germ Free

All teachers and staff will implement an even more strict cleaning routine. We will sanitize high-touch surfaces, such as learning materials, playground structures, bus seats, light switches, and doorknobs with increased frequency.

Food Service

Our teachers and staff will continue to wear gloves while assisting students with meals and snacks. At this time, our food service will keep all items individually packaged and served.

Face Coverings/Masks

Under MSDE OCC and CDC guidelines with the guidance of our local health department, all staff and students over the age of 2 are asked to wear a cloth face covering that covers a person’s mouth and nose at all times. We understand that this could be challenging for our little ones, and we are here to help!
